CD Mastering News - PMCD Mastering Is Launched - 01/03/08
Our brand new CD mastering website was launched in March 2008 to provide cost effective CD audio mastering services for CD duplication and CD replication. The mastering service is aimed specifically at customers who need a production ready CD master which complies to the Philips red book specification. This pre master CD is needed if you are planning to use a duplication or replication company to have your music CD copied or manufactured.
PMCD can take care of all aspects of CD mastering including:
Audio mastering - use of EQ, compression, limiting and other processes to optimise the sound of your music.
PQ coding - the start, pause and duration information that CD players need to successfully play your audio tracks.
CD text - the programming of CD title, track titles and artist names that can be displayed using a CD player that supports the CD text.
ISRC codes - these are codes embedded to your CD master and copies that carry information that can be used to track airplay and access CD information such as titles and artist name to companies such as itunes.
